Weems & Plath Tamaya Marine Vane (Analog)

The KV-5020 marine wind vane/anemometer is for use on ocean-going vessels. It sends both wind direction and speed signals simultaneously from the transmitter for remote observation.

The transmitter is a propeller/windmill type and is used in combination with the wind speed/direction indicator. The analog indicator receives and processes the transmitter signals to drive the pointers.

Features:

  • Two-piece system – vane transmitter & analog indicator
  • Built-in NMEA(National Marine Electronics Association) output, indispensable for ocean-going vessels
  • VDR compatible
  • Stepping motor-driven pointers resistant to vibration offer a reliable indication
  • LED illumination with dimmer

Optional Add-Ons:

  • A digital indicator that accommodates signals of your choice
  • KV-5025 - Simplified vessel speed/course signal transmitter (using GPS/magnetometric sensor)
  • Additional indicators

Transmitter Specifications:

  • Type: Propeller
  • Wind Direction Detection: 8-bit optical encoder, serial signal output, 256 partition dial
