This Traditional Barometer is set in a heavy six inch solid brass case which has been electroplated with chromium and comes with a domed glass(not plastic) front and rubber seal. These are not a mass production product; each one is individually hand made using the thickest brass possible that can be turned by hand. You will not be disappointed with this quality item.
