Shipping & Returns for Cape Cod

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your new Cape Cod Wind & Weather or Downeaster Wind & Weather instrument, you can ship it back to us for exchange or full product refund. Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

Orders that are accepted for return will have the total merchandise amounts credited back to the same credit card that was used during the original check out process. Any and all shipping and handling charges will NOT be credited, just the amount of merchandise.

Return Exceptions: Instruments that have been completely installed and used will NOT be accepted for return or refund unless there is found to be a manufacturing defect.

Instruments or parts that have been clearly damaged (dropped, stress cracks from improper handling, etc.) will NOT be accepted for return and will be returned to you in the same condition.

Refunds

For Cape Cod products, we will accept return of unused and unmodified standard goods within 30 days of delivery and refund the price paid, less a 10% restocking charge and processing fee. All products returned for credit must be unused and returned in their original packaging and include all accessories. All returns are subject to a restocking fee.

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel an order, please email orders@weatherscientific.com or call our customer service team immediately and mention your order (PO) number to avoid the restocking and processing fee.

Cancellations received before shipment will receive a full refund.

Orders canceled after items have shipped will follow our 30-Day Return policy and will be subject to the 10% restocking charge and processing fee.
